Chairman, East Albitrul Energy Ltd.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sanusi Mikailu Sami, Sami Gomo III, the Emir of Zuru, serves as Chairman of East Albitrul Energy Limited, a prominent entity in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

He hails from the respected family of Mikailu Sami (brother to the late Emir) and began his professional journey in healthcare, serving meritoriously at the College of Agriculture Zuru, Kebbi State, later transitioned to the Federal University of Agriculture Zuru, where he rose to the position of Head of the Medical Department before retiring.

 

Venturing into entrepreneurship, HRH has built a strong portfolio as a business leader, holding chairmanships in several organizations, including Tencent Technology Nigeria Limited, Sino Gold Fortunes, and Green Circle Nigeria Limited (Abuja). In his role as Chairman of East Albitrul Energy Limited, he applies his strategic insight, integrity, and dedication to sustainable progress to advance excellence in oil and gas operations, energy services, consultancy, and innovative solutions that bolster Nigeria’s energy security and national development.

A  committed  advocate  for  unity,  peace,  and  sustainable  community  development  in  the  Zuru Emirate  and  beyond,  HRH  was  appointed  the  12th  Emir  of  Zuru  on  28th  August  2025  by  His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, Executive Governor of Kebbi State, following the passing of Major Gen. Dr. Muhammadu Sani Sami, Sami Gomo II.

He is happily married and continues to lead with a focus on service, progress, and the betterment of society. 

Quadri Temitayo Giwa

Managing Director/CEO

Quadri Temitayo Giwa (widely recognized as Senator Giwa) is a distinguished serial entrepreneur, seasoned executive, and accomplished project consultant with over two decades of multi-sector experience spanning energy, construction, infrastructure development, ICT, engineering consultancy, and corporate leadership. He currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of East Albitrul Energy Limited, where he provides strategic direction,  operational  leadership,  and  corporate  governance  oversight  across  the  company’s  upstream,  midstream,  and  integrated  energy  service operations.

Professional Experience and Leadership

Mr. Giwa is widely respected for his exceptional leadership capabilities, strategic foresight, and operational excellence, having successfully founded, managed, and scaled multiple high-performing enterprises in Nigeria and internationally. His career portfolio includes executive roles as General Contractor and Managing Director/CEO of East Albitrul Energy Limited, 

Property Brothers Limited, and several other companies delivering solutions across oil and gas, infrastructure development, ICT, construction, and consultancy services.

With extensive international exposure, Mr. Giwa has delivered consultancy services to leading multinational organizations, including Fujitsu, Acer, ATOS, Genesis Housing Group (one of London’s largest housing associations), and key infrastructure projects such as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. During this global sporting event, he had the honour of meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II at the Aquatics Games competition.

His professional portfolio also includes significant contributions to the Crossrail Project (Queen Elizabeth Line), one of Europe’s largest and most technically complex railway infrastructure developments, involving intricate tunnel drilling beneath major high-rise structures across Greater London. His work on this project demonstrated exceptional risk management, engineering coordination, and large-scale project execution capabilities.

As Managing Director of East Albitrul Energy Limited, Mr. Giwa leads the company’s strategic growth in the Nigerian energy sector, overseeing exploration support services, drilling and well engineering solutions, production optimization, energy infrastructure development, project management, regulatory compliance, and ESG integration.

Sodiq Omowonuola Giwa

Executive Director

Sodiq Omowonuola Giwa is a seasoned Nigerian energy and infrastructure executive with over a decade of experience leading, structuring, and facilitating complex, capital-intensive projects across the energy, gas infrastructure, mining, recycling, logistics, and industrial development sectors. As Executive Director of EAST ALBITRUL ENERGY LIMITED, he provides strategic leadership, commercial direction, and institutional engagement for the company’s integrated energy development initiatives.

Operating at the nexus of government policy, private capital, and industrial technology, Sodiq has built a strong reputation for originating and executing high-value, cross-border partnerships that enable long-term asset development and national-scale infrastructure deployment.

 

His expertise lies in project origination, stakeholder coordination, technical-commercial structuring, regulatory alignment, and investment facilitation across the energy value chain.

In his capacity at EAST ALBITRUL ENERGY LIMITED, Sodiq has been instrumental in driving strategic collaborations between Nigerian public institutions and leading international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), investors, and technology providers. Notably, he led the introduction of Youjiete Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (YJT) China into Nigeria’s gas-to-transport ecosystem, facilitating the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG). His role encompassed partner origination, project structuring, technical and commercial alignment, and high-level government-to-industry and official delegations and factory inspections in China.

These efforts have laid a strong foundation for technology transfer, local manufacturing, and large-scale deployment of CNG and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure in Nigeria, directly supporting national energy transition, emissions reduction, and transportation decarbonisation objectives.

Beyond energy transition initiatives, Sodiq has also facilitated strategic engagements between Nigeria and major Chinese industrial conglomerates in the solid minerals, lithium processing, mineral beneficiation, and advanced manufacturing sectors. His work has supported downstream industrialisation efforts, local value addition, and foreign direct investment mobilisation aligned with Nigeria’s industrial and resource development priorities.

His professional experience spans the downstream and midstream energy value chain, including gas monetisation, LNG and CNG infrastructure development, flare gas commercialisation, clean transportation systems, and energy transition projects. He brings a pragmatic, execution-focused, and risk-aware leadership approach to complex energy investments, emphasizing regulatory compliance, local content development, institutional trust-building, and sustainable asset performance.

Sodiq holds a Master’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. His leadership philosophy is anchored in execution discipline, governance integrity, stakeholder confidence, and long-term value creation—bridging public policy objectives with commercially bankable energy and infrastructure projects that drive sustainable national development.
